Description

You will provide patient care support including hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety under the direction of the Charge Nurse. You will document in patient records, answer call lights, take vital signs, and ensure proper use of medical devices.

Requirements

• Active Certified Nurse Assistant certification in the state you will be working
• CPR certification or willing to obtain within six months
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Ability to lift heavy objects and transfer patients weighing 200+ lbs with assistance
• Manual dexterity and visual acuity

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care support including hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety
• Document patient care in records
• Answer call lights and respond to resident needs
• Take vital signs and weights; report changes to Charge Nurse
• Apply slings, splints, braces, and specialty care items per orders
