Description

You will coordinate the Aviation Maintenance Technician program, supervising faculty and staff, managing daily operations, and instructing students. You'll ensure compliance with regulatory standards and help shape the next generation of aircraft technicians.

Requirements

• Graduate or undergraduate degree preferred
• FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings
• Minimum of 3 years related practical work experience in aviation maintenance, specifically repair and installation

Responsibilities

• Oversee Evening Schedule Aviation Maintenance program, including daily operations and faculty/staff supervision
• Partner with Education teams on curriculum, course materials, scheduling, and training aids
• Manage faculty performance through hiring, evaluations, coaching, and mentoring
• Provide instructional support by substituting in classes and tutoring students
• Advise students on academic, behavioral, and attendance issues; monitor at-risk students
