Requirements

  • 7+ years in strategic partnerships, business development, or channel strategy in SaaS/payments/tech
  • Proven ability to cold source and initiate key relationships from scratch
  • Demonstrated skill in managing multi-stakeholder partnerships from sourcing to execution
  • Strong business acumen and partnership qualification skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable influencing C-suite

Responsibilities

  • Identify and align on target segments, partner types, and recruitment plans with senior leadership
  • Source, qualify, and land top-tier distribution partners with significant long-term potential
  • Develop partner penetration plans, pitches, and joint value propositions
  • Negotiate complex commercial agreements balancing partner and Lightspeed requirements
  • Track partnership acquisition results and calibrate success against initial estimates
