💼 About This Role

You'll architect and build intelligent, conversational AI systems for a remote-first Series A insurtech startup. You'll lead complex projects from planning to maintenance, defining technical direction and mentoring teammates. You'll report to the Head of Conversational AI Engineering.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Guide team in delivering high quality, well tested technical solutions
• Own projects through entire software development lifecycle
• Translate conceptual work into well-crafted tech plans
• Level up the team through code review and knowledge sharing
• Assist in onboarding new engineering hires

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years developing software in production environment
• 2+ years in a senior engineer role
• Production experience with Node.js and Typescript
• Proven experience designing RESTful APIs and codifying business logic on data stores

• Familiarity with Google Cloud stack
• Cross-functional leadership and collaboration experience
