💼 About This Role

You'll join CGS in supporting a large federal agency's legal mission by processing FOIA requests. Your core impact will be coordinating searches, drafting correspondence, and ensuring released materials comply with applicable exemptions. This role offers the chance to work on government innovation projects with a supportive team environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Receive, review, and analyze FOIA requests.
• Draft response letters and other FOIA correspondence.
• Coordinate searches for responsive documents and identify duplicates.
• Review records for responsiveness and determine releases.

📋 Requirements

• Six years of experience processing FOIA requests.
• Knowledge of FOIA exemptions b(4), b(5), and b(6).
• Experience redacting records with trade secrets and confidential information.
• Ability to obtain a government security clearance.

✨ Nice to Have

• Prior federal government experience.
• Experience with FOIA EXPRESS or SecureRelease.
• Active security clearance.
