💼 About This Role

You'll lead Snowflake's global privacy, security, and data compliance teams, reporting to the VP and Deputy General Counsel. Your impact will be guiding product and engineering through AI governance while managing a high-stakes incident response program. This role offers the chance to shape how an industry leader navigates emerging AI and data regulations.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Oversee global privacy program compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other laws
• Embed privacy and data compliance requirements into product development lifecycle
• Lead legal response to security incidents and vulnerability management
• Manage a 14-person team across privacy, security, and AI/data compliance

📋 Requirements

• 15+ years of substantive privacy/security legal experience
• 5+ years in a high-impact leadership role at an enterprise SaaS company
• Expert-level knowledge of GDPR, EU AI Act, and NIST AI Risk Management Framework
• JD from an accredited law school and active California bar membership

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience leading AI Task Forces or Ethics Boards
• Public sector compliance experience (FedRAMP, Department of War, etc.)
