Description

You'll embark on a three-year adventure combining software engineering at Skyscanner with teaching Computer Science. You'll start with 8 months at Skyscanner, earn a PGDE from the University of Glasgow, then split time between building real-world software and teaching in a secondary school. At the end, you choose your path in industry, teaching, or both.

Responsibilities

• Complete a PGDE in Computer Science to qualify for teaching in Scottish secondary schools
• Work within a Skyscanner engineering squad contributing to production systems
• Teach Computer Science in a secondary school, inspiring students
• Connect theory with practice by linking teaching with real-world software engineering
• Receive mentorship to develop technical and teaching skills
