💼 About This Role

You'll design and build the core personalization and recommendation system for Posh's IRL community platform, influencing ranking and classification at scale. You'll shape the technical direction of our modeling strategy and set data standards as one of the early data hires.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and prepare high-quality data for personalization models
• Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for modeling data
• Optimize infrastructure to support ML personalization at scale
• Develop and refine classification models for event categorization

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of full-time data experience
• Expert in SQL and Python
• Experience building personalization or recommendation systems in production
• Background in early stage data team at a small tech company

• Experience with AWS Personalize or SageMaker
• Experience with consumer-scale products
