You'll develop test strategies for Waymo's autonomous vehicle perception systems, designing metrics and simulating rare edge cases to ensure robust performance across platforms. You'll drive automation and cross-functional collaboration to scale testing for rapid commercialization.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop test strategies and methodologies for scaling and edge cases
• Design metrics, test plans, and simulated scenarios for off-nominal situations
• Write reusable software for analyzing simulation test results and advocate automation
• Lead cross-functional teams to unblock multi-platform testing

📋 Requirements

• Advanced degree in Engineering, CS, Robotics or equivalent practical experience
• Software development for robotics or verification/validation of robotic systems
• Strong grasp of Machine Learning fundamentals and applied statistics
• Data analysis in Python and SQL; C++ preferred

• 8+ years of engineering experience (grad school + industry)
• Experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or safety critical systems
