You'll contribute to the technical direction and implementation of human-machine teaming capabilities for autonomous airborne systems. You'll design, develop, and deploy novel teaming capabilities that enhance performance, safety, and resilience. This role offers the opportunity to validate autonomy software in real flight tests.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and develop human-machine teaming capabilities for autonomous airborne systems.
• Propose and execute applied research and human subject experiments.
• Contribute to simulation, integration, and flight test activities.
• Write, test, document, and review code per development standards.

📋 Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Aerospace, or Robotics Engineering.
• 5+ years developing software for airborne autonomous systems.
• Deep experience in human-machine interaction for crewed aircraft or UAS.
• Proficiency writing code in Python.

✨ Nice to Have

• Proficiency with C++ and ROS.
• Experience with perception systems, sensor fusion, or Bayesian methods.
• Experience with flight testing (uncrewed or crewed aircraft).
