Description

You will partner with veterinarians and vet techs to deliver exceptional care to pets and their owners. Your tasks include scribing during visits, assisting with procedures, handling client interactions, and maintaining the clinic. This full-time role with rotating 10-hour shifts is key to providing quality pet care.

Requirements

• 1+ year experience as a veterinary assistant or kennel assistant
• Working knowledge of veterinary terminology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask

Responsibilities

• Scribe for Veterinarians during visits
• Support medical team with surgeries, x-rays, treatments, and procedures
• Compassionately handle and restrain pets for exams
• Record and report on patient symptoms
• Communicate pricing estimates and treatment plans to clients
