Description

As a PM intern on the Core Platform team, you will work to simplify Rubrik's backup SLA model by moving from a one-size-fits-all approach to a modular, composable framework. You'll analyze customer data, redefine user journeys, and present a strategy to senior leadership, accelerating engineering velocity and enhancing the customer experience.

Requirements

• Current MBA candidate at premier institute (IIM, ISB or equivalent)
• BS in Computer Science or Engineering with systems thinking
• Analytical maturity using data (SQL/Telemetry) and product sense
• Communication presence to synthesize complex trade-offs for senior stakeholders
• 2-4 years prior work experience; 2026/2027 graduate; CGPA 8+

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer usage patterns to identify Workload Clusters for partitioning the engine
• Redefine the user journey by evaluating UI cognitive load and enabling Progressive Disclosure
• Partner with engineering to quantify the Agility Gap and define modular interface requirements
• Develop a comprehensive PRD for the Next Gen policy model balancing modularity with Single Pane of Glass
• Present a data-backed Strategy Recommendation to Senior Leadership on unified vs. modular trade-offs
