You'll own the verification and validation strategy for BMS and high-voltage power systems at Vertical Aerospace, a pioneering eVTOL aircraft company. You'll lead a team to ensure certification-driven development and generate compliance evidence for airliner-level safety certification. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Define verification & validation strategy for BMS and high-voltage systems
• Manage automated HIL test environments from SIL to full integration
• Develop and maintain verification plans aligned to ARP4754
• Lead and develop a team of V&V engineers

📋 Requirements

• Degree in electrical, systems, aerospace, or computer engineering
• Significant experience on safety-critical systems in aerospace, automotive, or energy
• Strong experience in verification and validation of safety-critical systems
• Experience with requirements tools (DOORS, Jama) or MBSE

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with test environments (HIL, rig-based)
• Experience with Battery Management Systems (BMS) or high-voltage systems
• Knowledge of DO-160, DO-178C, DO-254
