💼 About This Role

You'll lead mapping policy initiatives for Waymo's autonomous driving system, translating complex regulatory requirements into scalable technical specifications. You'll enable global expansion by creating a robust policy engine. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, operations, and legal, driving cross-functional alignment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Translate regulatory requirements into detailed mapping specifications
• Direct the lifecycle of mapping policy initiatives from scoping to launch
• Establish decision-making frameworks and RACI matrices
• Synthesize status reports and strategic recommendations for senior leads

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of program management experience with regulatory focus
• 3+ years of leading teams
• Experience with cross-functional programs and product development lifecycles
• Proven ability to work with legal, public policy, and engineering teams

• Experience with road rules regulations or mapping policies
• Advanced degree (J.D., MBA, MPP)
• Technical background or understanding of product development
