Description

You will perform critical technical support to fire engineering and surveying teams, undertaking on-site fire inspections, external wall surveys, and fire compartmentation surveys. Your work will help ensure building safety and compliance with fire safety legislation.

Requirements

• Degree in Building Surveying, Fire Safety Management or similar
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
• Extensive understanding of fire safety design and guidance
• Experience with intrusive external wall surveys on various building types
• Ability to author in-depth technical reports using digital software and Microsoft Word

Responsibilities

• Undertake external façade assessments and survey investigations using PAS 9980 methodology and EWS1 process
• Carry out active and passive fire protection systems surveys and technical reports
• Compliance assessment with British Fire Safety Legislation (ADB, BS9999, BS9991, BS7974)
• Undertake visual fire doors inspections and confirm non-conformities to BS8214
• Manage own client base and exceed client expectations
