💼 About This Role

You'll join the MongoDB Server Query Execution team to build and improve the core execution engine that powers all queries. You'll own critical components like the new execution engine and support products such as Atlas Streams and Vector Search. This role offers the chance to solve interesting problems with direct impact on transactional and analytical workloads.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define the 12-month roadmap for Query Execution
• Deliver on long-term goals for high-performance query execution
• Write well-tested, production-ready C++ code
• Mentor and coach team members

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in query engine development or database internals
• Experience building production-level code with a large user base
• Strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software architecture
• Experience with large code bases in C++

• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Hands-on or academic experience in database domain
• Proven track record of technical leadership
