Description
You will analyze medical costs, forecast financial outcomes, and identify cost-saving opportunities within the Medical Cost Analytics team. You'll partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to build models and provide actionable insights.
Requirements
- College degree in a STEM field (e.g. Economics, Actuarial Science, Health Economics)
- 4+ years of quantitative analysis experience using SQL
- Track record of building analytics that drive business decisions
- Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries or on track (bonus)
Responsibilities
- Maintain models to forecast financial impact of clinical and payment policy changes
- Perform sensitivity analyses and stress testing on models
- Analyze integrated claims and operational data to identify cost and trend drivers
- Conduct retrospective studies to measure actual financial and clinical outcomes
- Build repeatable analytic processes and create executive-ready visualizations
