Description

You will architect and build the next-generation AI infrastructure, designing resilient distributed systems and frameworks to scale the product. You'll collaborate with ML, search, and product teams, owning projects like key-value stores, event streaming, and observability. This role offers high ownership in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Experience designing, building, shipping, and maintaining backend distributed systems
• Familiarity with Python, Golang, Java, or C++
• Experience with Docker and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with open-source technologies like Kafka, Elasticsearch/Opensearch, or Istio
• BS+ in computer science or related field

Responsibilities

• Architect and build core infrastructure including distributed key-value store, schema-less data store, auth, event streaming, config management, rate limiting, circuit breaking, and feature flags
• Improve observability and reliability via distributed logging, tracing, monitoring, and alerting
• Define performance metrics for microservices, identify bottlenecks, and enhance scalability
• Collaborate with ML, search, product, data, and frontend teams to influence infrastructure roadmap
• Deliver deadline-sensitive work interdependent with other engineering teams
