Description

You will use inspection equipment like micrometers and calipers to approve or reject parts, document results, review certifications, and communicate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve discrepancies. You will also support quality management system policies and inspect flight hardware at supplier sites.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 1+ years of receiving, precision, mechanical, or metrological inspection experience
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications using ASME Y14.5
• Experience with GD&T and metrology tools
• Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as necessary

Responsibilities

• Utilize inspection equipment to approve/reject items and document results
• Perform documentation review and verification of certifications and design requirements
• Communicate with internal customers and suppliers to resolve inspection discrepancies
• Complete surface plate work/inspection of machined aerospace parts
• Inspect flight hardware at supplier according to engineering drawings and specifications
