💼 About This Role

You'll drive new business acquisition in the State and Local (SLED) market for Verkada's cloud-based physical security platform. Your core impact will be developing and executing a territory plan to land net new logos and meet quota targets. This role offers the chance to join a rapidly growing, well-funded startup with strong product-market fit.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive territory plan
  • Manage full sales cycle including prospecting, demos, trials, and negotiations
  • Initiate and manage expansion discussions to drive customer retention
  • Drive business growth through marketing campaigns, events, and channel partners

📋 Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of quota-carrying software/hardware technology or channel sales
  • Proven track record of closing net new logos and landing major accounts
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the territory
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders

✨ Nice to Have

  • 2+ years selling to Public Sector (SLED) accounts
  • Experience selling through channel partners
  • Relevant experience in security, networking, or SaaS software
