Description

You will lead the development of a data migration suite that helps customers move from legacy relational databases to MongoDB in real-time. You'll drive architectural vision, contribute core backend services, and mentor engineers while working with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and Debezium.

Requirements

• 8+ years commercial software development with JVM language (Java preferred)
• Extensive experience with streaming data platforms (Apache Kafka, Debezium)
• Extensive experience with relational data modeling and SQL databases (Postgres, MySQL)
• Exposure to client-side technologies (JavaScript, React) is a plus
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Drive architectural vision and technical strategy for data migration engine
• Contribute core code solving hardest scalability problems
• Partner with Engineering Leadership, Product Management, and Design on roadmap
• Champion engineering best practices and mentor engineers
• Deliver large-scale features across the tech stack
