💼 About This Role

You'll design and execute strategic, multi-channel publicity campaigns for frontlist and select backlist titles across two imprints: BOOM! Studios and Inklore. Your work will directly drive media visibility through national, regional, and niche outlets, building cultural momentum for comics, manga, and graphic novels. This role uniquely blends traditional media relations with influencer engagement and event-driven promotion in a fast-paced, fan-focused environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and execute multi-channel publicity campaigns for frontlist and select backlist titles.
• Build media visibility through national, regional, and niche outlets including broadcast, print, digital, and podcasts.
• Serve as primary contact for authors, creators, agents, and licensors ensuring consistent communication.
• Write press releases, media pitches, talking points, and campaign messaging tailored to each project.
• Plan and coordinate author events, tours, and appearances including logistics and scheduling.

📋 Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in book publicity or closely related communications field.
• Proven ability to secure high-impact national and digital media coverage.
• Established network of media contacts and success in pitching creative campaigns.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to craft persuasive messaging.
