💼 About This Role

You'll design and launch manufacturing lines for cutting-edge battery storage systems at a next-gen power company. You'll work cross-functionally to develop high-quality, efficient manufacturing equipment and processes. This role offers the chance to shape scalable production from prototype to high volume.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop equipment, fixtures, and processes for prototype builds and scale-up
• Determine and procure equipment, collaborating with integrators on automated machinery
• Manage suppliers through specification, design, buyoff, and installation
• Design efficient workstation layouts and conduct PFMEA, line balancing, capacity modeling

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years as hands-on Mechanical/Manufacturing/Design Engineer
• Experience with 2D CAD (AutoCAD) and 3D design (SolidWorks or CATIA)
• Experience with conveyance, workstation design, robotic systems, adhesive dispensing, DC fastening, or automated testing
• Experience with GD&T and system stack-up analysis

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience creating technical specifications for automated equipment
• Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Automation (DFA)
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
