💼 About This Role

You'll lead new light-electric-vehicle products from concept through NPI and manage a team of mechanical engineers. You will drive world-class engineering work on innovative boardsports and transportation products. The role is based half a mile from the beach in Santa Cruz.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead new light-electric-vehicle products from concept through NPI
• Validate, test, and iterate on mechanical and electromechanical systems
• Work with domestic and overseas vendors for manufacturing
• Manage allocation of team resources and tasks

📋 Requirements

• BS or MS in mechanical engineering
• 7-15+ years experience in mechanical engineering
• Excellent CAD (Solidworks) proficiency
• Experience managing small-to-medium (2-20ppl) mechanical engineering teams

✨ Nice to Have

• Electromechanical (electric vehicle, mechatronics) background
• Experience in outdoor industry (bikes, snowboards, skateboards)
• Experience with QC/FAI and inspection using CMM
