💼 About This Role

You'll build highly available, multi-tenant compute layers for Confluent's cloud-native event streaming platform. Your work will directly impact scalability and performance for demanding enterprise clients. This role offers the chance to solve distributed systems challenges at massive scale.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and develop the Kora compute layer for high availability and multi-tenancy
• Deliver complex projects end-to-end with a focus on quality
• Investigate root causes and solve hard distributed systems problems

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years of cloud infrastructure or cloud networking experience
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design and development
• Experience building and operating large-scale systems in the Cloud
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, C/C++, Go or other statically typed languages

✨ Nice to Have

• In-depth familiarity with the JVM
• Experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience in resource management and QoS
