Description

As a Medical Assistant at Seen Health's PACE program, you'll work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive, culturally competent care to seniors in the San Gabriel Valley. You'll perform both clinical and administrative duties, from preparing participants for visits and assisting with procedures to coordinating care and educating patients on self-management.

Requirements

• Medical Assistant certificate required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience as a Medical Assistant, using EHR, and working with frail elderly
• Bilingual in Mandarin or Cantonese preferred
• State-recognized MA certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms, check patients in/out, collect medical histories, and take vitals
• Perform medical procedures including wound care, vaccinations, POCT, phlebotomy, and lab work under supervision
• Coordinate care with nurses and assist with visits, referrals, transportation, and medication delivery
• Handle administrative tasks: patient reception, health records, appointment scheduling, billing/coding
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms; document logs per regulations
