Description

You will develop and execute sourcing strategies for indirect commodities, managing end-to-end sourcing from requirements gathering to contract execution. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to align procurement with technical and business needs while optimizing cost and supplier relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field
• 8+ years of experience in supply chain commodity management of IT, CapEx, or professional services for R&D
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
• Ability to relocate to Costa Mesa, CA and work onsite
• Previous experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, high tech, or related industry preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies for Indirect commodities focusing on cost optimization, contract standardization, scalability, risk mitigation, and supply chain resilience.
• End-to-end sourcing responsibility from requirements gathering and RFI/RFQ/RFP management to supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract execution.
• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, IT, Finance, Legal to define requirements and align procurement with technical and business needs.
• Lead negotiations for multi-year, high-value agreements to establish best-in-class commercial and operational terms.
• Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships to drive innovation, service quality, and value creation.
