You'll lead and grow the product design organization at Baselane, a rapidly growing banking and financial management platform for landlords. You'll set the AI-first vision for design, shape the team, and own design work end-to-end as a player-coach. This role offers the chance to define design as a core strength of a category-defining FinTech company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define AI-first design workflows and tooling
• Set design vision and translate strategy into roadmaps
• Personally own end-to-end design for one product pod
• Lead, coach, and grow the product design team

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of product design experience
• 3+ years leading and scaling design teams at high-growth tech startups
• Hands-on experience leading AI tool adoption and AI-first workflows
• Strong people management skills including hiring and coaching

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience designing for FinTech or financial services
• Experience across web and native mobile (iOS and Android)
• Experience partnering with founders or execs in Series A to C
