💼 About This Role

You'll design, develop, and maintain microservices that power Kong Konnect, the Service Connectivity Platform. Working closely with Product and Engineering teams, you'll build software with direct customer impact. This role offers the chance to contribute to Kong's cloud-hosted control plane and mentor team members.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Implement and maintain services for Kong Konnect's cloud control plane
• Contribute to Kong's Cloud and Enterprise services
• Design solutions to technical problems of moderate complexity
• Support production services via on-call rotation and automated testing

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years developing complex software solutions
• Experience in Go programming language
• Microservices architecture and distributed systems experience
• DevOps monitoring and observability skills

✨ Nice to Have

• Deep experience with Go and effective Go standards
• Experience with NGINX, OpenResty, Kong, or LuaJIT
• Experience with Datadog or OpenTelemetry
