💼 About This Role

You'll gain hands-on emergency medicine experience alongside credentialed veterinary technicians in a fast-paced ER environment. You'll engage in triage, diagnostics, and inpatient care while exploring whether emergency medicine is your future.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Pair with an emergency credentialed veterinary technician for real-time mentoring
• Shadow and assist with triage, outpatient visits, diagnostics, anesthesia, inpatient care
• Practice skills required by your school's proficiency checklist with mentorship
• Experience the teamwork and pace of emergency care at VEG

📋 Requirements

• Enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology or nursing program
• Enrolled in a course that requires externship hours or skills
• Current rabies vaccination or titer
• Able to stand for prolonged hours, kneel, and lift up to 25 kg
