💼 About This Role

You'll lead structural design and analysis for aerospace vehicles at a cutting-edge propulsion startup. You'll own CAD models, perform FEA, and coordinate loads with cross-functional teams. This role offers a chance to build the structures team from the ground up in a fast-paced startup environment working on rotating detonation rocket engines.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Complete structural design and analysis for aerospace vehicles
• Perform FEA using ANSYS and hand calculations for strength
• Own CAD models in NX/CATIA including large assemblies
• Coordinate loads with GNC, propulsion, avionics, and systems teams

📋 Requirements

• B.S. in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of structural engineering experience
• 3+ years of FEA experience (ANSYS preferred)
• 3+ years of CAD experience (NX preferred)

• Experience with random vibration testing
• Design for manufacturing and producibility
• Flight qualification and structural test experience
