Description

You'll lead fire safety litigation projects, from site investigations to expert testimony in court. You'll work on high-profile cases involving design defects, cladding, and fire safety, providing impartial analysis and collaborating with legal teams and public bodies.

Requirements

• Experience in fire engineering, fire forensics, and litigation.
• Expertise in UK and Irish fire safety legislation, standards, and engineering best practice.
• Ability to produce conclusive reports and robust evidence of high technical standard.
• Experience working with solicitors, developers, and public bodies.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for expert testimony.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site-based investigations to record evidence and analyze fire incidents.
• Review technical documentation, manuals, and maintenance records.
• Consult relevant standards, regulations, and published guidance.
• Provide timely preliminary verbal and/or written advice to clients and legal teams.
• Prepare final technical expert witness reports and give evidence in Court.
