💼 About This Role

You'll provide 1:1 support for a student with special education needs at Gardner International Magnet School. You'll ensure student safety and engagement during lessons and build relationships with students and families. This role is crucial to a student's support structure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Prioritize tasks as assigned by teachers and school leaders
• Ensure safety of students on caseload
• Build relationships with students and parents
• Incorporate feedback from professional development sessions

📋 Requirements

• Associate's Degree or 60 completed college credits
• Passing the ETS Paraprofessional Exam

✨ Nice to Have

• Previous experience in small group and RTI settings
• Understanding of how to read a student's IEP
• Desire to become a certified teacher long term
