Description

You will own monthly revenue forecasting for Instacart's retailer and consumer businesses, building and maintaining driver-based models. This role involves running variance analyses, preparing executive-ready materials, and partnering cross-functionally to drive strategic decisions. You'll report to the Director of Strategic Finance and collaborate regularly with senior leadership.

Requirements

• 6+ years in investment banking, strategic finance/FP&A, or management consulting supporting high-growth tech or marketplace businesses
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency including driver-based modeling and scenario analysis
• Proven experience owning monthly forecasting and variance analysis for complex P&L components
• Experience preparing executive-ready materials for VP/C-suite stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Own monthly retailer and consumer revenue forecasting end-to-end, building driver-based models
• Run monthly/quarterly variance analysis and translate trends into actionable insights for senior leadership
• Develop executive-ready materials for board and C-suite, including narrative memos and dashboards
• Partner cross-functionally with Business Development, Product, Data Science, and Accounting
• Lead proactive deep dives on revenue and unit economics to identify growth opportunities
