Description

You will lead a technical project for developing and qualifying equipment, tooling, and manufacturing processes for plastic injection molds and high pressure die cast tools used in Starlink hardware production. Act as a technical decision-maker, manage supplier relationships, and collaborate with design and production teams to bring products from R&D to manufacturing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or materials engineering
• 6+ years of professional experience with high precision machining
• Experience taking products from R&D into production

Responsibilities

• Lead a project for plastic injection molding and high pressure die casting tooling manufacturing processes
• Act as technical decision-maker on internal tool and die manufacturing techniques
• Create collaborative business plans with design engineering and production teams
• Manage strategy for capital expenditure, staffing, equipment specification, and production layouts
• Develop capacity, schedules, and project plans to support production and R&D demand
