As a Hospice Volunteer, you will provide companionship, support, and legacy projects to clients and their families, or assist with office tasks and bereavement support. Your work will make a meaningful difference in the lives of others in your community.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate
• Criminal background check completed per state requirements
• Meet all state requirements for volunteers

Responsibilities

• Patient visits for companionship, reading, life review, exercise
• Legacy projects (arts, cooking, music) to help families remember loved ones
• Activities at senior living facilities (reading, movies, crafts)
• Virtual projects from home or around town (singing, art, crafts)
• Office projects and bereavement support
