Requirements
- MS or PhD in engineering, mathematics, computer science or related discipline.
- Experience in optimization-based motion planning and control (e.g., Model Predictive Control).
- Experience in control, estimation, modeling, and analysis of multi-DOF electromechanical systems.
- Practical experience with motor servo control architectures and tuning.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ programming.
Responsibilities
- Develop optimization-based motion planning and control algorithms for an overactuated autonomous system down to motor torque control.
- Utilize expertise in complex high degree-of-freedom electromechanical systems.
- Bridge mechanical, electrical, software, and systems engineering domains.
- Interface with perception, intelligence, simulation, and platform software systems for functional architecture design.
- Achieve exceptional motion quality through continuous test, measurement, analysis, and improvement.
