💼 About This Role

You'll build the HIV lab from the ground up at a human-first drug discovery company, using organoids and AI. You'll be the in-house HIV expert and stand up the full assay menu. This is a foundational role on a strategically important program.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build the HIV lab from scratch—equipment, reagents, SOPs, controls.
• Act as in-house HIV expert for biology, virology, and assay design.
• Stand up and validate the full assay menu.
• Execute experiments with rigor and troubleshoot in real time.

📋 Requirements

• PhD and postdoc experience as an HIV virologist in a top-tier lab.
• Several years of experience working under BSL2+ conditions.
• Deep familiarity with standard HIV assays like viral load, infectivity, latency, neutralization, integration, and replication kinetics.
• Strong background in immunology and T cell biology.
