💼 About This Role

You'll assist the store manager in daily operations, including opening/closing, cash management, and inventory audits at the Backcountry Outlet. Your core impact is ensuring a clean, organized, and secure store for customers. You'll also train and mentor new team members as a Gearhead ambassador.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Assist Store Manager in opening and closing the store
• Manage cash/credit transactions and daily cash reconciliations
• Maintain inventory levels, conduct audits, report discrepancies
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist with purchases

📋 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years retail sales or customer service experience
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays
• Basic computer skills and POS system experience preferred

• Experience with Point-of-Sale systems
• Passion for outdoor activities

🚩 Heads Up

• Part-time role with up to 48 hours/week expectation, contradicts part-time
• Mentoring/training responsibilities without manager title or compensation
