Description

You will ensure the health, safety, and performance of a growing satellite fleet, supporting missions from LEO constellations to interplanetary exploration. This role involves developing automated ground and flight software, running simulations, and collaborating across engineering teams to maintain spacecraft operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (software, computer, electrical, aerospace, mechanical, or related)
• 5+ years direct experience in space mission design, satellite subsystems, ground systems, or spacecraft operations
• Understanding of key spacecraft subsystems
• US Secret Clearance required
• Experience with spacecraft command control or operations

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test ground software for automated spacecraft operations
• Design, develop and test flight software sequences and FDIR/telemetry configuration
• Maintain continuous integration and testing of operational code
• Develop test methods and data analysis; validate against simulation tools
• Generate and maintain requirements for spacecraft missions and support AIT teams
