Description

You will develop models to extend voice support for new Roku features and languages, analyze spoken and written language data to improve models, and maintain existing systems using rule-based or machine-learned approaches.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Linguistics, Computer Science, or related field
• Proficiency in at least one non-English language (Spanish or Portuguese preferred)
• At least 2 years experience with spoken natural language applications
• Solid knowledge of core linguistics: semantics, syntax, morphology, phonology, phonetics, discourse, dialogue
• Experience with rule-based grammars and machine learning for NLP (LLM, generative AI)

• Capture a wide variety of expressions in rule-based or machine-learned systems
• Maintain existing systems, recognize issues, debug and solve problems
