💼 About This Role

You'll design and support outside plant (OSP) telecommunications infrastructure for copper and fiber networks. Your work will ensure reliable expansion of telecom services like FTTH and Metro-E. This role offers the chance to contribute to mission-critical network projects across North America.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform detailed OSP engineering for copper and fiber cable networks.
• Develop engineering designs for poles, conduit routes, and buried facilities.
• Prepare permit packages for submission to local jurisdictions.
• Track project budgets and compare estimated versus actual costs.

📋 Requirements

• Experience designing and engineering OSP telecom infrastructure including fiber and copper networks.
• Strong understanding of OSP principles and telecom industry practices.
• Experience with right-of-way acquisition and permitting processes.
• Ability to identify existing voice/data plant and electric utilities in site plans and field environments.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience reviewing and performing quality control on engineering work.
• Familiarity with COE/OSP work order procedures.
• Knowledge of the National Electric Safety Code (NESC).
