💼 About This Role

You'll work across application and platform security domains, owning security reviews, threat modeling, and vulnerability management for Sentry's developer tools. You'll partner with engineering to embed secure-by-design principles and tackle novel security challenges as Sentry expands agentic product capabilities. This role offers high autonomy and a strong developer culture.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own and mature Sentry's security review program
• Influence vulnerability management practices and bug bounty
• Champion secure-by-design principles with engineering teams
• Validate and reproduce application and infrastructure security findings
• Evaluate and respond to emerging threats

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience designing, building, securing complex applications and distributed cloud systems
• Degree in Computer Science or related field, equivalent training, or experience
• Direct experience with security reviews, SDLC, threat modeling, vulnerability management
• Experienced programming in at least one language (Python, TypeScript, Go, Rust)

• Familiarity with distributed cloud technology (AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform)
• Experience securing agentic or AI-assisted features
