You will provide a clean, safe environment for residents, guests, and employees by cleaning furnishings, floors, and trash receptacles. This role is vital in enhancing the lives of older persons through high-quality service and positive interactions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous housekeeping or laundry experience in long term care preferred
• Positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Clean furnishings, fixtures, ledges, windows, and heating/cooling units by washing, dusting, or polishing
• Clean floors by sweeping, vacuuming, dust mopping, or damp/wet mopping
• Empty trash, clean receptacles, and transport trash to proper area
• Report maintenance concerns, pest control issues, unsafe or unsanitary conditions to supervisor
• Interact positively with residents, family members, guests, and personnel
