Description
You will own the end-to-end administration, calculation, and analysis of variable compensation plans, ensuring accurate and timely commission payouts while building scalable processes in a fast-paced SaaS environment. You'll partner with Finance, Sales, Revenue Operations, and People teams to optimize systems and drive process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4-7+ years experience in variable compensation or sales finance in SaaS
- Hands-on experience with ICM systems like CaptivateIQ or Xactly
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and complex data sets
- Strong understanding of commission accounting, accruals, and internal controls
Responsibilities
- Calculate commission and incentive payments based on plan provisions
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual commission close processes with Accounting and Payroll
- Review commission payment reports for accuracy and timeliness
- Perform cost analysis and modeling of alternative commission plan designs
- Maintain and optimize variable compensation systems and ensure data flows from CRM/ERP
