Description

As a Workday Data Conversion Consultant, you will serve as the primary knowledge source for converting data from legacy systems into Workday Cloud HCM systems. You will lead data conversion activities including creating ETL scripts, validating loaded data, and collaborating with clients to map legacy data and identify quality issues.

Requirements

• 3-5 years relevant work experience with up to date Workday Certification AND/OR 1+ year hands-on Workday Data experience
• 2 or more full life cycle Workday implementations
• 2+ years of consulting experience, most recently in a Senior Analyst, Consultant, or similar level role, preferably with a large consulting firm
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• ability to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary knowledge source for converting data from legacy systems and spreadsheets into the Workday Cloud HCM systems
• Converting Data into Workday using Workday provided loading tools
• Create ETL scripts to transform and load data in preparation to load to Workday
• Lead in the validation of data loaded into Workday
• Responsible for assisting clients in mapping legacy data, identifying data quality issues and overall responsibility over conversion activates on the project
• Responsible for key communication to project and client leadership
• Closely follow the strategic direction set by leadership when establishing Workday project goals
• Collaborate with client counterpart to successfully deliver on shared objectives
• Responsible for timely identification and escalation of risks and development of alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary
