💼 About This Role

You'll take technical ownership of Data AI Governance platforms like SageMaker Unified Studio and the Data Innovation Workbench, ensuring their reliability and scalability within the FT's cloud-native data platform. Your work will enable consistent governance enforcement across integrated AWS services and contribute to broader governance strategy by embedding robust tooling into platform services.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Serve as technical owner for SMUS and DIW platforms ensuring high availability
• Define and implement IaC standards using AWS CDK, CloudFormation, and Terraform
• Integrate SMUS with data stores, streaming platforms, and orchestration tools
• Monitor platform performance, costs, and compliance reporting

📋 Requirements

• AWS cloud services experience in a platform engineering role
• Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code (CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform)
• Experience supporting production-grade cloud platforms
• Proven ability to optimise cloud costs using best practices

• Experience implementing data governance capabilities in cloud-native environments
• Understanding of metadata, data lineage, and AI governance concepts
