Description

You will design, develop, and test in-house simulation software supporting all SpaceX flight systems. You'll build high-fidelity simulations used for cutting-edge software and hardware development, working across engineering groups on models of fluids, electronics, and multi-body physics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, math, or STEM; OR 2+ years professional software development experience
• 1+ years development experience in C++
• Strong C++ software design and development skills
• Understanding of distributed computing, networking, memory management, CPU scheduling
• Thorough knowledge of classical physics and math (algebra, calculus, Euclidean geometry)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-fidelity real-time simulation software for all vehicles
• Develop prototypes to prove key design concepts and quantify technical constraints
• Improve reliability and performance of simulation software
• Work with users to develop new features and improve user experiences
