Description

You will lead the development of new plastic injection tooling projects, refining design for manufacturing by collaborating with supply management, product design, and manufacturing engineering groups. You'll research new materials and manufacturing technologies, estimate production costs, participate in supplier audits, and maintain master tooling schedules.

Requirements

• Proven track record in consumer electronics product and tooling development
• Experience with domestic and Asian suppliers
• Knowledge of tooling material selection, resin selection, and qualification
• High volume manufacturing and secondary processes experience
• DOE experience and ability to run multiple programs in parallel
