Description

You will lead engineering best practices, mentor engineers, and build scalable distributed systems and user-facing applications. You'll develop data pipelines, ELT processes, and integrations to support the growth of Altruist's AI platform for wealth professionals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building precise and scalable distributed systems with best engineering practices.
• B.A./B.S. degree in relevant fields such as Computer Science or similar Engineering/Mathematics degrees.
• Technologically savvy and can easily get up to speed on modern tech stacks (Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, Postgres, Kubernetes).
• Strong ownership and pride in work.
• Superb communication skills.
• Resilience and unwavering determination.
• Confidence with ego-less approach.
• Creative problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Act as a leader and steward of engineering best practices, mentoring other engineers and developing impactful solutions.
• Analyze and solve complex problems spanning multiple user personas and workflows.
• Focus on building and scaling services and user facing web applications.
• Build customer centric scalable and performant applications and features.
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ELT processes.
• Build new data integrations based on established requirements.
• Perform data analysis to investigate and resolve data issues.
